Office hours
The parish office is located in the Wilmer Building (corner of Duke and Pitt Streets) and is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Please note that the staff is in Morning Prayer from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m.
Resources
We can help parishioners who need the support of the parish office with mailings for a particular event.
Leaving a message
If the office staff is not available to answer your call, please leave a message on the voice mail system (remember to dial *8 before the extension #). Your call will be returned as soon as possible.
Calendar
The office maintains a calendar of parish events. Please provide the events you wish to include to the parish office as early as possible. Please indicate the name of the group, date, time, desired room, whether this is a one time or recurring event, and the name and phone number of a point of contact. A form is available to assist you in providing this information.
Supplies/printing
Parish programs and ministries may contact the parish secretary to have supplies ordered and/or to have outside printing arranged. At lease one week notice is needed for supply orders and at least two weeks notice is needed for outside printing requests.
Directory
In September, the office publishes a directory of members' names, addresses, and phone numbers. We ask members to let the parish secretary know of changes as they occur. These changes are then entered into the church's database, which is used to address newsletters and other parish mailings.
Distribution
Each parish program, ministry, committee, or group is welcome to ask for a mailbox in the parish office. Once established, incoming mail and items of general interest will be placed there for pickup.
Financial information
Any group with a budget line can request a status report. Parishioners can request information about their contribution records by contacting Scott Mann & Associates at the parish office at ext. 12. Please ask for Patrice Gant or Scott Mann.
Lists
The parish office maintains the church's master database. This list includes names, addresses, phone numbers, and selected information about parishioners, e.g. baptism and confirmation dates, contribution information, transfers of membership, etc. If you lead a program, ministry, committee, or a group, please help the parish office keep the list current by notifying us of any changes.
Mailing labels
We will do our best to provide mailing labels for a parish related mailing. You can help by providing us with an up-to-date list of participants for the ministry or group.
Mailings
The office staff can stamp and get your official parish mailings into the U.S. Postal Service. If the mailing exceeds 50 envelopes, we may not be able to get it in the mail right way but will be glad to work with you to accomplish the task.
Newsletter articles
All parishioners are encouraged to submit articles for the parish newsletter, The Epistle. Articles are provided directly to Maude Hales via phone, fax, or e-mail. The newsletter article deadline is the third Monday of the month. Items may be edited for content and length.
The St. Paul's e-mail list
St. Paul's e-mail list is a private e-list for St. Paul's parishioners. Members of the list receive the Friday e-Pistle which gives information about the upcoming Sunday, upcoming week, and other events on the St. Paul's schedule. Members of the parish may join the parish e-mail list by contacting the parish administrator.
