The Southern Sudanese Community (SSC), is a nonprofit, community-based organization, organized initially to respond to the immediate and increasing needs of the Sudanese refugee community in the Washington metropolitan area.
The SSC comprises various religious denominations. A small and vibrant congregation of Episcopolians meet monthly to worship on 2nd and 4th Sundays at 2:30 p.m. at St. Paul's..
St. Paul's is the epicenter for its community functions, fellowships, meetings, and social gatherings.
