Larissa Beason

Children's Ministry Assistant

Larissa joined the St. Paul’s staff in 2014 as a teacher in the Explorers Preschool Program and is now the Explorers’ Office Manager and mentor for new teachers. She also serves as the Children’s Ministry Assistant as a resource to St. Paul’s families, helping coordinate children’s activities, Sunday school and special events. She began working with young children as a teenager and loves to help them learn and grow. Larissa grew up in Brazil and lives in Alexandria with her husband Daniel, baby Luca, and dog Roo.

Leigh Ann Gaskins


Leigh Ann Gaskins has worked for Scott Mann and Associates for five years and has been at St. Paul’s during that time. Previous to working at St. Paul’s she worked at Trinity UMC in Alexandria for almost seven years. Leigh Ann is married to her husband of 17 years, John, and they have two daughters, Kaitlyn (15 years) and Julia (9 years). She is active in her children’s school and PTA as well as volunteering at her home church. She feels extremely blessed to be working for Scott and with the staff and parishioners at St. Paul’s.

Maria Halloran

Stewardship Director

Maria Halloran is the Director of Stewardship at St. Paul's. She oversees all operating fund pledges as well as other financial gifts made to the church and the St. Paul’s Foundation. Maria is a graduate of the University of Virginia with a BA in English. She and her husband, Tim, live in Alexandria with their three children; Will, Maisie, and Alice, and their very naughty dog, Max.

Grant Hellmers


Grant Hellmers is our Organist and Choirmaster. He holds music education degrees from the Canberra School of Music and the Canberra College of Advanced Education of Canberra in his native Australia. He pursued additional music studies at the Academy of Music in Vienna, Austria, and in Paris, France, and completed the Royal School of Church Music Summer Course in London, England. Following this, he began a career in church music in the U.S. He comes to us after serving more than 30 years as Music Director at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Richmond, Virginia.

Jennifer Hooff

Parish Administrator

Jennifer Hooff joined St. Paul's staff as parish administrator in January 2018. In addition to the administrative role of an office manager — handling financial oversight, HR, our volunteers, and our database — she also oversees maintenance responsibilities as we continue to update, repair, and preserve the church. Jenn brings years of dedication and experience as a parishioner and volunteer at St. Paul’s.

Rees Kirkorian

Director of St. Paul's Explorers

Rees Kirkorian serves as St. Paul’s Explorers Preschool Program Director. Rees’ mission at St. Paul’s is to improve and expand the former PMO Program to include a new dynamic play-based curriculum with art, music, movement, nature, and early Christian formation. Rees, a native Californian, has spent over 20 years working with children in educational, recreational, and therapeutic programs throughout the US and Great Britain. Rees has been working with St. Paul’s youth since fall of 2012 and was received for confirmation at St. Paul’s in April 2014. Rees is honored to be able to continue his work at St. Paul’s this year. Donna Lefeve

Director of Special Projects

Donna Lefeve is the special projects coordinator at St. Paul's. Born in DC, Donna has lived in Alexandria for 48 years and has been a member of and volunteer at St. Paul's for 14 years. She is a graduate of American University with a BA in PR/Journalism, and worked in the film industry prior to becoming a mother of three. Donna now acts as the parish office receptionist and staff comedienne.

Katie May

Minister to Youth, Children & Families

Katie May joined St. Paul's staff as the Minister to Youth and Children in April 2018. She is a native to Alexandria and has been attending St. Paul's with her family since she was a baby. Katie is a child of this parish and a product of the programs for children and youth. Over the last four years, she has served as an active and engaged lay volunteer and a youth leader. She oversees the Sunday School, weeSIT, Shrine Mont, and youth education and formation. Katie lives in Alexandria with her very cute pup named Leo.

Kelsey Parrish

Communications Director

Kelsey Parrish is the Director of Communications at St. Paul’s, overseeing strategic communication planning, media outreach, bulletin production, website updates, congregation-wide emails, production of the Epistle Magazine, and social media for the church. Before coming to St. Paul’s in 2012, Kelsey worked in corporate communications at a health-related non-profit organization in Alexandria. She holds a BA in English from the College of William & Mary, and an MA in strategic communication and public relations from George Mason University.

Laura Rose

Events Coordinator

Laura Rose serves as the Events Coordinator at St. Paul's. In this capacity she maintains the church schedule and acts as the parish liaison for all events held at St. Paul's (including weddings and baptisms). In addition, she works with other staff members on ministry and fundraising events held through out the year both at St. Paul's as well as at outside locations.

Heidi Schneble


Long-time St. Paul's parishioner and former Vestry member Heidi Schneble serves as our verger at Sunday services. Vergers provide support and coordination for worship participants, including lay readers, altar guild, and acolytes. Working largely behind the scenes, Heidi's dedicated efforts each week help our services run smoothly.


Eric Schnobrick

Minister of Music

A church musician since high school, Eric is thrilled to join the staff at St. Paul’s. As a pianist, he appears regularly with the National Symphony Orchestra and performs as principal pianist with the Washington Ballet Orchestra. He has been engaged by Alexandria Choral Society, Washington Performing Arts, Glimmerglass Festival, Minnesota Opera, Fort Worth Opera, and Palm Beach Opera, and has further experience as an educator working at the Seagle Music Colony and the Young Artists Training Programme at the New National Theatre in Tokyo. He is continuing in his fifth year as the pianist for Beth El Hebrew Congregation in Alexandria. Also an arts administrator, Eric comes to St. Paul’s after nearly six years as the General Manager and Assistant Executive Director of the American Youth Philharmonic Orchestras. Eric and his wife, Elizabeth, have attended St. Paul’s for nearly ten years; they were married and have had all three of their children baptized here. He looks forward to having an active role in refining the musical character of three distinct services at St. Paul’s while welcoming any musician that would like to participate.
