On Tuesday February 23 we were joined by Natalie Talis, MPH, Population Health Manager at the Alexandria Health Department. A health policy and communications professional with expertise in empowering community members to take collective action on local health issues, her current responsibilities include managing the Alexandria community health assessment process and the development of the city’s community health improvement plan. In addition, during the COVID-19 pandemic, she has been serving as the Health Department’s Public Information Officer, leading community outreach and communications strategies. Prior to joining the health department she worked on health policy issues at the national level. In 2020, she received the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce’s 40 Under 40 award, which recognizes young leaders in the community. She lives in Alexandria with her husband.
