Faith at Home
Research shows that the greatest impact on the spiritual development of children comes from their parents. We want to support our families by making faith-building resources available.
Consider signing up for our Monthly Newsletters to receive regular updates, resources and ideas for connecting Faith & Family.
Additionally, we keep current materials (calendars, book suggestions, family activities, etc.) on the “Parent Resource Wall“, found on the 2nd floor of Wilmer Hall, where we have Sunday school.
Shrinemont Camps
St. George’s Episcopal Church in Arlington invites you, parents, and others from your parish to join us for an information meeting on the Shrine Mont youth camps on Sunday, October 27, 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. Paris Ball, Diocesan Director of the camps, will be there to provide information for parents and potential campers. She will be covering Shrine Mont’s traditional summer camps, as well as camps for wilderness exploration; music, art, and drama; athletics; and special needs. The camps are open to campers ages 8 – 15, and the Diocese has a scholarship program to provide financial assistance – no child should be unable to attend due to lack of finances.
