What time are services?

The Summer Service Schedule begins Sunday, May 26th and continues through Sunday, September 8th. All worship takes place in the church.

Childcare is available in the Nursery on the first floor of Wilmer Hall for children ages newborn through 4 years old. The Nursery is open each Sunday from 9:45am until 11:15pm.

8:00 am Holy Eucharist: Rite One a traditional spoken service

10:00 am Holy Eucharist: Rite Two traditional language with hymns, organ, and choir. Livestream available. Popsicles on the bricks following the service

5:00 pm Holy Eucharist: Rite Two a contemplative service with candle lighting and prayers for healing

Monday – Friday

9:00 am Morning Prayer in the chapel

Wednesday

12:00 pm Holy Eucharist Livestream available.

How can I add someone to the prayer list?

Click here to fill out the prayer request form. Note that names remain on the prayer list in the bulletin for three weeks; please email [email protected] to request that a name be retained for longer than three weeks.

How do I schedule an event/baptism/wedding/funeral?

Contact our Events Coordinator, Laura Rose, to inquire about scheduling an event at St. Paul’s. Visit the BaptismWeddings, and Funerals pages for more details.

How can I receive financial help (with rent, utilities, ect.)?

St. Paul’s offers emergency financial assistance to residents of the City of Alexandria through our Lazarus Ministry. Please come in person to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church (228 S. Pitt St., Alexandria, VA 22314) – Tuesday mornings only (doors open at 7:30 a.m.; lottery is run at 8:00 a.m. to determine who may be helped that day). Bring a valid photo ID and copies of lease, bills, disconnect notices, or other documents related to your request.
