I have participated in various programming and fellowship events and activities, primarily the Carpenter’s Shelter dinners and SPEP Finance Committee.
I care about St. Paul's because... I care about St. Paul’s because I have found a special spiritual community here. It was during the preschool creation that I experienced the extraordinary commitment of the clergy, parish leadership and the church community. St. Paul's Experience: I’ve attended St. Paul’s for 20+ years. No matter how long I’ve been away from church, I always enjoy the warm welcome and immediate sense of belonging I experience. I’ve returned that gift via the Meade Lunch program and recently volunteered as a business plan judge through the Damascus Project, an amazing outreach!
I care about St. Paul's because... St. Paul’s is my spiritual home and a place of acceptance. This church embraces all. “Wherever your are in your life and in your faith, there is a place for you here.” I read this often and try to share that with my family, business, and community. St. Paul's Experience: I was confirmed at St. Paul's in April of 2022. I chose St. Paul's as my church home after about a year of visiting Old Town churches. I've been made to feel at home. It's an honor to serve as lector Sunday School helped, and as a volunteer with the Damascus Project.
I care about St. Paul's because... I care about St. Paul's for so many reasons. I've been given the opportunity to grow in my walk with God, to serve others, and also to be lifted up and comforted during the recent death of my younger brother and my father's impending passing, which could be any day now. The clergy of St. Paul's are God's hands and feet.
