Youth Formation

Youth Group

Youth Group is a time to eat dinner together, check-in, play a game, and close in Compline. Coming this year: more activities outside of the church and service projects!

Youth Group Starts September 18 and meets each week on Sunday from 6-8PM in Upper Norton. All youth in grades 6 - 12 are welcome to attend, we ask that you RSVP by 3PM each Sunday to reduce food waste. There is a $5 fee for dinner which can be paid online.

    Lillian Hardaway is a native of South Carolina and a graduate of Clemson University. While in school Lillian spent time in Ecuador, Haiti, and Argentina. Previous ministry experience includes work with youth, retreats and camps, and college ministries. Lillian and her husband, Thomas, along with two cats and collection of house plants, live at Virginia Theological Seminary where Thomas is enrolled in the Master in Divinity program.

    Service Times

    The Regular Service schedule resumes Sunday, January 8th and continues through Sunday, May 21st. All worship takes place in the church.

    Childcare is available in the Nursery on the first floor of Wilmer Hall for children ages newborn through 4 years old. The Nursery is open each Sunday from 8:45am until 12:15pm.

    8:00 am Holy Eucharist: Rite One a traditional spoken service

    9:00 am Family Eucharist: Worship for all ages

    10:00 am Formation Hour for all ages. Sunday School for ages 4 yrs through 5th grade students. Adult Forum in Upper Norton Hall (varies weekly).

    11:00 am Holy Eucharist: Rite Two a service with traditional language, hymns, organ, and choir. Livestream available.

    5:00 pm Holy Eucharist: Rite Two a contemplative service with candle lighting and prayers for healing

    Monday - Friday

    9:00 am Morning Prayer in the chapel

    Wednesday

    12:00 pm Holy Eucharist Livestream available.
