Exploring Systemic Racism in Alexandria: Education

Tuesday, April 27 at 7:30 pm

The mission of Alexandria City Public Schools is to ensure success by inspiring students and addressing barriers to learning. And yet in Alexandria (as in most places), the effects of racial inequality still exist in our educational system, with disparate rates of graduation, participation in advanced classes, and discipline for white and non-white students. Join us on Tuesday, April 27 at 7:30 pm for a conversation around racial inequities and education in Alexandria with Dr. Gregory C. Hutchings, Jr., ACPS superintendent. Click here to read Dr. Hutchings's bio.

If you’d like to submit questions before the webinar, please send them to Andy and Renee Monday, [email protected], no later than Tuesday, April 20.
