Angel Tree 2023
For many in our community the holidays are a stressful time due to financial hardship. This year St. Paul’s is once again working in collaboration with the Alexandria Department of Community and Human Services (DCHS) and is sponsoring 84 children across 26 families as well as 15 disabled seniors. The DCHS Holiday Sharing Program ensures that the neediest in our community…low income families, struggling seniors, children in foster care…will experience some joy during the holiday season.
The Angel Tree has wish lists for children attached to each of its ornaments. A sticker on the front of each ornament indicates whether the gifts being requested are clothes, toys, books or a bicycle. Please note that each child has several ornaments, so rest assured they will have clothing, toys and books due to your generosity. Each ornament specifies whether presents should be wrapped or not based on the family’s request. For clothing items, you may consider including a gift receipt.
In addition to presents, St. Paul’s will donate grocery gift cards to families and seniors. Funds will also be used to purchase additional presents if we have unclaimed ornaments. Families who would like to donate to the Angel Tree Gift Card Fund can click the link below.
