Preschool Admissions

St. Paul’s Episcopal Preschool welcomes applications at any time during the year. Parents can apply online or receive an application form by contacting the Preschool office at [email protected]. A non-refundable fee of $75 is due when your application is submitted. Applications should be received by February 15. We appreciate your interest and will acknowledge your application.

The best way to get a feel for our school is to experience it. We encourage parents of prospective students to arrange a tour of the school and classrooms. Please contact the Head, Chris Byrnes, to schedule a visit for you and your child. You can call the St. Paul’s Preschool office at (703) 548-6089 or send an email to [email protected]. Tours are scheduled between 12:30 - 2:00 pm, Monday - Thursday.

Once your application is received, your child will receive priority by date of application for the next year’s appropriate classroom. It is the policy of St. Paul’s Preschool to give first preference for enrollment to current students, siblings of children currently enrolled in the program, and to parishioners of St. Paul’s Church. Within each age group, date of application is key.

Should the class be filled, your child will be put on a wait-list and may be enrolled if any spaces become available. Your child’s application will remain active for the next school year, should you wish to be considered.

Enrollment contracts will be mailed in late February, prior to the beginning of school in September.

St. Paul’s Episcopal Preschool admits students of any race, color, sexual orientation, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school, and further, does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sexual orientation, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and other school-administered programs, or otherwise discriminate in violation of federal, state or local law.

Tuition and Fees

Each student who attends St. Paul’s Episcopal Preschool has an annual contract which establishes the financial relationship between the parents and the school. A non-refundable enrollment deposit of the 1st month’s tuition, is due at the time of acceptance of a space in the program.

The remaining tuition is paid in 9 installments thru FACTS Tuition Management program. All parents will enroll in the FACTS Tuition Management plan when they submit their June tuition installment. FACTS will be used for all tuition payments (June, August-March 2021) and other fees that might occur during the school year.

  1. Parents may pay their child’s full tuition by June 1.
  2. Monthly Installments – 9 equal payments on the 1st or 15th of the month. Payments are in June, and follow July through March.

Financial Aid

The Board of St. Paul’s Episcopal Preschool is committed to offering parents who wish their child to receive a preschool education that opportunity, regardless of their ability to pay. With that in mind, there is financial aid available for students. A small committee of the School Board makes decisions regarding financial aid. For more information please contact Chris Byrnes at [email protected].
